Happy Holidays From Plannernet

Happy Holidays from Plannernet

About a year ago, Plannernet prepared our 2020 business plan to bring long-term value to our Clients, Suppliers, Business Partners, and the overall Meetings & Events Industry. Wow, we were way off…. As we strategized back then, no one could know just how quickly or dramatically our industry and our world would shift, creating undeniably significant and painful challenges for individuals, families, communities, and businesses across the entire world. But through these incredibly difficult times, we are doubling down on what our mission has always been and with a renewed and refreshed clarity for what matters the most to us– the ability to build meaningful partnerships, relationships, and connections.

Over the course of this year, we have partnered more closely than ever with our Clients, Suppliers, and Business Partners to swiftly navigate the impacts of COVID-19 on our industry. We collectively managed through the abrupt cancellations of live events in the spring and supported the rapid expansions of Virtual and Hybrid solutions thereafter. Together, we are now working and collaborating on additional ways for our organizations to build resilient partnerships focused on providing quality, cost-effective, and compliant solutions that withstand beyond the pandemic.

Through these innovative partnerships, we have ensured the resilience of many of our collective organizations and provided deeply needed opportunities for meeting and event professionals across our industry. And as we look ahead to the future, we are more committed than ever to the industry and connecting small businesses with increased opportunities. With renewed vigor, we will expand our partnerships with Suppliers across the globe, and in conjunction with our Clients, we will drive more economic opportunity as our industry rebuilds.

This year, like no other, has made it more evident that the quality of our relationships directly impacts the quality of our lives. Undeniably, while we would prefer to connect in person, we have felt fortunate to have expanded our relationships in new ways. Virtually, we have been welcomed into so many homes, met families, celebrated milestones, and shared deeply personal stories of how this year has impacted and reshaped our lives. We have seen countless colleagues across the industry, as well as our own team, come together to support one another. As we near the holidays and the end of this year, we are simply thankful for these meaningful shared moments together and the opportunity to be part of a passionate industry.

We hope this holiday season brings you peace, joy, and meaningful time with loved ones. We look forward to a refreshing new year!

Happy Holidays!
