The Live Events Coalition is staging “The Empty Event” across key cities in the US to bring awareness to the closure of the Live Events Industry and petition for federal aid. “The Washington, D.C.–based Coalition began in March as a petition asking for federal assistance for the live events industry. Campaign Sets Sights on $1 Million for Planners in Distress “The MPI Foundation itself contributed more than $250,000 between April and August, delivering more than 1,200 scholarships to members in need as well as supporting the MPI Academy’s free educational webinars.
