New Look. Same Mission. Bigger Vision.

We have a new look, though our mission remains the same – connecting small businesses with large opportunities. And for over 30 years, we have done just that. We’ve built meaningful partnerships across the globe with both independent professionals and large organizations to drive economic opportunity for both.

Initially founded as Professional Meeting Planners Network, our mission became to band together a network of talented event professionals and align them with enterprises to help produce and execute meaningful events. Over the years and with the evolution of our industry, we have only continued to expand this vision further. Since then, our network has grown exponentially, now comprised of over 3,500 small businesses with an expansive suite of capabilities and skills; supporting the full array of meetings from virtual to in-person, small to large, hyper-local to expansive roadshows, and everything in between. In the past 15 years alone, Plannernet’s marketplace has provided over 325,000 jobs to our network, sustaining many small businesses and their communities, while helping corporations build strategic and resilient meeting and event programs.

As the world and our industry aim to rebuild, the freelance economy will play an invaluable role – and helping organizations find and compliantly engage top talent around the world is crucial. Though our mission may be the same, now more than ever, Plannernet is committed to making it easier for enterprises and small businesses to work together to drive innovative solutions that enable all to thrive in this dynamic new world.

“I Started my career in a regional accounting firm, primarily working with small businesses to help them succeed financially and support their local communities. These small businesses are the fabric of our communities, and we are committed to ensuring they thrive in the next iteration of the freelance economy.”
