  • Payment Protection Program – Extended –

    Though you are likely already aware, in December 2020 – it was declared that a new COVID-19 relief package (PPP) has been approved for small businesses created under the original CARES Act in 2020 – this reenactment was set to expire March 31, 2021. On Monday of this week, the Federal Reserve Board announced it is extending the Payment Protection Program beyond the original expiration date of March 31, 2021, to the end of June 2021 – allowing continued distribution of funds to small businesses. As our industry, businesses, and personal lives are still hurting, we encourage you to check out the PPP guidelines and apply should your business be eligible

  • Zoom Resources –
    As our client requests for moderating Zoom virtual meetings grow in 2021, your business may find the resources provided by Zoom to be helpful. Zoom offers free, live-training webinars daily as well as video tutorials. If your business has experience moderating Zoom Webinar and/or Zoom Meetings, please be sure to update your profile so we are aware of your business capabilities and can utilize your virtual moderating services as client needs permit. 
  • Pandemic On-Site Protocol Course –

    The Event Leadership Institute and MPI have partnered to deliver a 3-hour course on Pandemic On-Site Protocol. This new course is designed to provide frontline on-site staff with the knowledge necessary to maintain a safe environment, identify and mitigate risks, and de-escalate non-compliance issues as they arise.

  • Pandemic Meeting and Event Design Certificate Course –

    The Event Leadership Institute and MPI have partnered to deliver a 20-hour course created to support meeting professionals to assess the current environment and map new ways to prepare event strategy, design, execution and evaluation.

  • COVID-19 Compliance Officer Course (C19CO) –

    As live meetings and events return, a new need has emerged for COVID-19 Compliance Officers (C19CO). This 2-hour course provides certification to inform non-union, on-site staff about protocols related to COVID-19 safety. This C19CO position is designed to work in conjunction with an on-site medic and to prevent the spread of COVID-19 according to CDC guidelines.
